Police seal off south Manchester road after car crashes into a house

A car has crashed with a house on a busy road in south Manchester.

Emergency crews are currently at the scene of the collision on Yew Tree Road, in Fallowfield.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured during the collision, which happened just before midday on Sunday (November 15).

A silver people carried can be seen in the front yard of a house on the road.

The vehicle appears to have caused damage to a brick wall.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, Greater Manchester Police and a North West Ambulance Service crew are at the scene.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “Officers were called just before midday (Sunday 15 November 2020) to Yew Tree Road, Fallowfield to a report that a car had been in collision with a house.

“Emergency services are in attendance.”
