Police seal off petrol station after man seriously injured in attempted murder attack

An attempted murder investigation has been launched after a man was attacked at a petrol station in Trafford.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was found injured on The Grove in Flixton at around 2am this morning (Saturday).

Police believe the man had been attacked at a Texaco petrol station on nearby Flixton Road.

The offenders are believed to have sped away from the scene in a grey or silver Vauxhall Mokka in the direction of Carrington.

The victim was taken to hospital with 'multiple' serious injuries.
