Police seal off street in Liverpool as terror investigation continues

Police have surrounded a street in Liverpool as the terror investigation into an incident outside a hospital at the weekend continues.

Boaler Street, at the junction of Sutcliffe street, in Kensington has been sealed off while investigations are underway.

The area was previously sealed off by police after counter-terror police arrested three people in connection with Sunday's Liverpool Women's Hospital terror attack.

The Liverpool Echo are giving live updates as the incident unfolds.

Officers previously raided properties in Sutcliffe Street, Kensington and Rutland Avenue, near Sefton Park, and arrested four men on suspicion of terror offences.

They were released without charge yesterday as police confirmed they had co-operated with the investigation.

Both Merseyside Police and Counter Terrorism Police have been approached for comment.
