Police seal off house after the bodies of man and woman in their 30s discovered inside

Police have sealed off a house in Cirencester after the bodies of a man and woman in their 30s were discovered inside.

Officers were called shortly before 4.10pm on Monday to a home in Fosse Close.

Emergency services attended and both of the people inside the address were pronounced dead.

Their families have been told and cordons are in place as detectives attempt to establish how they died.

A white forensic tent has been erected at the home as work begins.

The deaths are being treated as unexplained at this time.

No further details have been released about the two people, or how they are known to each other.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said: "Scene guards are in place at a property in Cirencester following a report that the bodies of two people had been located at an address.

"Shortly before 4.10pm on Monday (May 10), police were called to a location at Fosse Close.

"Emergency services attended and both of the people inside the address were pronounced deceased.

"The individuals are a man and woman in their 30s with a post mortem [examination] due to be taking place today to help establish the cause of their deaths.

"Detectives remain in attendance to establish the circumstances around the deaths which are being treated as unexplained at this time."
