A row of shops and takeaways in Whitefield was cordoned off by police following a reported stabbing.
Officers were called to reports of a section 18 assault on Albert Road, off Ribble Drive, last Thursday evening (March 23). The Manchester Evening News understands that at least one person was stabbed in the incident.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said no-one was seriously injured. No arrests have been made.

No further details have been released at this stage by the force. Eyewitness reported seeing police tape around the row of businesses on Thursday night, with officers stationed at the scene.
