A woman was previously found dying in the house at the centre of a murder probe in West Lothian this week.
The Courier reported yesterday cops were investigating the death of a local man on Monday night but it has now been revealed that another woman died at the property in June.
The Daily Record understand that the woman took her own life at the property on Falside Creascent and Police Scotland have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
A police spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the sudden death on Tuesday, 8 June of a 51-year-old woman who was taken to hospital from a property on Falside Crescent in Bathgate.
“There were no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
It is understood that the latest tenants of the property had only moved in weeks earlier.
Officers confirmed that they are now treating the latest death as murder with a 32-year-old charged and due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court today.
They also named the man who died as Keith Allan, aged 42, and say the police presence in the area will continue.
Detective Inspector Brian Manchester said: “Our thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone affected by this tragic incident.
“Local residents may continue to see a police presence in the area but this is being treated as a contained incident and there was no risk to the wider public at any time.”
