Police Scotland release further image of teen boy missing since Monday

Police Scotland have released a further image of a teenage boy who has travelled to the Edinburgh area and been missing since Monday.

Ashawn Studholme, 16, was last seen in the Niddrie or The Jewel areas of Edinburgh on Monday 24 May.

He is known to have links to London and could possibly have been seen using public transport.

Ashawn is described as black, 5ft 7ins tall and of a slim build with short black hair.

The 16-year-old was wearing a black skip cap, a black jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers at the time of his disappearance.

Constable Lee Aitchison from Craigmillar Police Station said: “Ashawn has been missing for more than a week now and it is vital that we trace him and confirm he is safe and well.

“I would appeal to anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward, and I would also urge Ashawn to get in touch and let us know he is ok.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 3248 of Monday, 24 May
