Police Scotland have posted a stunning pic of the moment a double rainbow appeared during a moving #clapforcarers moment.
A post on the Dumfries and Galloway Police Division page shared the moment, which was captured by Roads Policing officers as it appeared over their vehicle as they parked up to applaud the NHS and frontline services in Whauphill, Newton Stewart.
Described as "beautiful photographs captured during a special moment", the double rainbow can clearly be seen above the stationary police car.
With over 1,200 likes on the post already, users thanked the officers for sharing, while another added that they hoped it was a "good sign of things to come".
