Police Scotland launch appeal to trace missing woman last seen on Ayr High Street

An appeal has been launched to trace a missing woman last seen on Ayr High Street earlier this week.

Catherine Pollock, aged 37, was last seen in the town centre on Tuesday, March 24 when she was seen in the company of another unidentified female - she may still be in the Ayr area.

Catherine is described as white Scottish, 5ft 5ins tall with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Chief Inspector Brian Anderson, Area Commander for South Ayrshire, said: “We are keen to ensure the safety of Catherine given the amount of time she has went without contacting her family.

“I would encourage Catherine to get in touch with police, even by telephone, to let us know that you are safe.

“If anyone has seen Catherine or you were that unidentified female on Ayr High Street I would also ask that you get in touch."

Anyone who has any information on Catherine’s whereabouts, is urged to contact officers at Ayr Police Station via 101 quoting incident number 0906 of 25th March 2020
