Six people arrested in Glasgow during Celtic v Rangers match

Police Scotland say six people were arrested during today's Old Firm clash, including three for sectarian breach of the peace.

Football fans descended on Parkhead Stadium this afternoon for the match, which seen Celtic triumph 2-1 over Rangers.

Officers say rowdy fans were arrested for a string of public order offences and that three were sectarian.

A spokeswoman said one was detained for resisting arrest and another for being drunk and incapable.

Meanwhile, one person was arrested for trying to get into the stadium while carrying alcohol.

Celtic go 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership following today's win.
