Police say missing 14-year-old girl could be in Bristol

Police are appealing for help to find a missing girl who may be in Bristol.

Yasmin Mohammed, 14, was last seen at her home in David Allan Drive, Alloa, around 2am today (September 20).

She is a Syrian national and is described as 5ft tall, of slim build, with a sallow complexion, long black hair and brown eyes.

Police Scotland believe she may have plans to travel to Bristol.

When last seen she was wearing a yellow or cream "G Star raw” hooded top with a large logo on the front, light blue fitted denim jeans and dark-coloured, possibly “Converse”-type trainers.

She was carrying a black rucksack with a large pink panel on the back.

Inspector Colin Sutherland, Forth Valley Division, said: "Yasmin has not been missing overnight before and to be away for this length of time, with no contact with her family is very concerning for them and police.

"From our enquiries, we believe she may be intending to travel to England, possibly Bristol. We know that she has money and a change of clothing with her.

"Officers are currently searching the local Alloa area, checking CCTV for her last movements and also liaising with colleagues at British Transport Police in an effort to find her.

"If you have seen Yasmin, or have any information on where she may be, then please contact police via 101 quoting reference number 1925 of 20 September 2020.

"We’d also appeal to Yasmin herself to come home as her family are very worried and want her back safe and well."
