Police rushed to Jarnac Court in Dalkeith following 'sudden' death of 31-year-old man

Police rushed to the a property in Dalkeith following the "sudden" death of a 31-year-old man at the weekend.

Officers in Midlothian were called to a flat in Jarnac Court, close to Dalkeith High Street, at around 12.25pm on Saturday where they found the male.

They say that the death is currently being treated as unexplained, although there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers in Dalkeith were called to a property in Jarnac Court around 12.25pm on Saturday, 1 February, 2020, following the sudden death of a 31-year-old man.

"The death is currently being treated as unexplained, though there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
