Emergency services have raced to a Glasgow street following reports of an injured man.
The alarm was raised at Fairburn Street around 8.20pm yesterday.
A 51-year-old man was subsequently discovered with injuries.
He was then rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A police cordon was also set up which remained in place for several hours.
A spokesman for the force said: "Officers attended at Fairburn Street in Glasgow at around 8.20pm on Thursday, 4 March after reports that a 51-year-old man had been found injured.
'He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing."
