Police rush to Queen's Drive after man, 28, is assaulted in early morning attack

A man has been rushed to hospital after being assaulted at a property on Queen's Drive.

Police were called to the address around 8.35am following reports of a man being assaulted.

Emergency services attended and a 28-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a facial injury.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and police are continuing their investigations.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 8.35am we were called to a report of a man having been assaulted within a property on Queen's Drive.

"A 28-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a facial injury and a 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection."
