Emergency services have rushed to an ongoing incident in the Saltmarket area of Glasgow this evening.
A large police presence has been spotted on Saltmarket Place.
Pictures sent to Glasgow Live show police vehicles parked on the residential street.
With one eyewitness informing Glasgow Live that both uniformed and plainclothes officers were "all over" the area and have been for the past 45 to 50 minutes.
It is not currently known why emergency services are at the scene.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
