Police have rushed to the M8 motorway, near to Glasgow city centre, after reports of a person on the road.
It's understood a person was seen on the hard shoulder, near Junction 14, police say. As it stands, there are no reports of any injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "There was a report of someone on the hard shoulder.
"Police are in attendance and trying to establish whether there's anyone there.
"We're not aware of anyone being traced just now. Officers are still in attendance checking, and there's no reports of anyone injured."
