Police renew appeal for missing 18-year-old

ACT police have renewed calls for assistance in helping to find a teenager who has been missing since last weekend.

Lynda Costello, 18, was last seen in Downer at 7.30am on Sunday and has not been heard from since.

An ACT police spokesman said it was likely Lynda was heading to Dickson around the time she was last seen.

Lynda has been described as Caucasian, about 165cm with blonde hair and a medium build.

She was last seen wearing an ankle-length, two-tone brown horizontal-striped dress.

The police spokesman said Lynda was not in any trouble and it was important to ensure she was safe.

Police and Lynda's family have urged for anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward and contact ACT police on 131 444, using reference number 6457936.
