Police renew appeal for help after man was stamped on in high street

Police have re-issued CCTV footage of the moment a man was kicked to the ground and had his head stamped on as inquiries continue into the assault.

Officers want to speak with two people - a man and a woman - in relation to the incident which happened in High Road, Beeston , at 6.50pm on Friday, March 29.

CCTV images show the assault started on a zebra crossing and a man is then kicked and pushed to the ground.

Nottinghamshire Police say a man then stamped on his head a number of times, which caused injuries. Officers said a woman also threw beer over the victim.

Officers would like to speak to the people in the footage and in CCTV images which have been released by the force.

If you recognise them or can help call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 831 of March 29, 2019. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
