Police release two CCTV images after serious assault in Glasgow city centre

Police have released two CCTV images after a serious assault in Glasgow city centre.

The attack took place on Union Street in July, with one man hospitalised as a result.

Police describe the people pictured in the images as two teenagers, a 14-16-year-old male and a 16-18-year-old male.

Anyone with information is asked to come forward.

The Glasgow city centre police division this afternoon said: "Detectives in Glasgow have released CCTV images of two males they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries following an assault on Union Street.

"The incident took place around 6.45pm on Tuesday, 14 July, 2020, and one man required hospital treatment as a result.

"The first man is described as being a white male, between 14- 16 years of age, with a slim build. He was wearing dark jogging bottoms, a dark zipped hooded top with a white hood, and dark trainers.

"The second man is described as being a white male, between 16-18 years of age, with a slim build. He was wearing dark jogging bottoms, a blue hooded top and dark trainers.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact CID Glasgow City Centre via 101 quoting incident number 2835 of 14 July 2020.

"Alternatively, the charity Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously."
