Police release suspects' descriptions after grieving mum had ring containing baby's ashes stolen at knifepoint

Police have released the description of three suspects in a knifepoint mugging of a woman in Salford.

In a Facebook post by the GMP Eccles division, the suspects are described as 'three white males on pedal bikes aged from 15-19'.

One is described as being 5'6" medium build, with medium length fair hair and was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms.

Another was described as 5'4" very skinny build, short dark hair, wearing a royal blue GK coat.

The final suspect was described as wearing a black Under Armour hoodie with a baseball cap underneath.

Last week the MEN reported a ring containing a baby's ashes had been stolen from the grieving mum in a robbery on Whitehead Road in Clifton.

The victim was mugged at knifepoint at around 4.45 pm on Friday, 31 January.

Police released an appeal for the public's help to help find the ring.

Anyone with information can contact GMP on 101 of Livechat, quoting log number 2086 31/01/20 or via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555111.
