Police release picture of bearded man after broad daylight incident in Queen's Park

An image has been released of a man police believe can assist with their investigation into an incident in Queen's Park.

The incident in Glasgow's south side occurred at around 2pm on Saturday, January 23, and Police Scotland has said it is eager to trace the man in the image in connection with this.

He is described as being Asian, aged between 25 and 35 years of age with a goatee beard and an earring in his right ear. The man in the image is shown wearing a turquoise top, blue jeans and a black coat.

Police Constable Fiona Crum of the Public Protection Unit based in Glasgow said: “We’re eager to trace the man in the image and would ask that the man, or anyone who can help identify and trace him, to contact police as soon as possible. Anyone who has any other information relevant to our enquiries should also report this to officers as soon as possible.

“Those with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2212 of 23 January. Alternatively, an anonymous report can be given to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
