Detectives have released images of 11 men wanted for questioning in connection with violent disorder and racial harassment during pro-Donald Trump and Tommy Robinson demonstrations.
The photos were taken at protests which took place on Saturday 14 July in central London.
“During these demonstrations violent disorder broke out in Storey's Gate in Westminster," said Detective Sergeant Matt Simpson, from the Metropolitan Police's Public Order Investigations Team.
"At about 4pm police officers who were present to keep the public safe and facilitate peaceful protest were subject to assaults and racial harassment.
"This behaviour is completely unacceptable and we are appealing for the public's help to identify the people in these images."
English Defence League (EDL) founder Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was jailed for contempt of court after using social media to broadcast details of a trial which was subject to blanket reporting restrictions.
He was freed from prison in August after three judges quashed a contempt of court finding made at Leeds Crown Court, but could be sent back to jail as his case has been referred to the Attorney General.
Crowds marching for a separate "Welcome Donald Trump" procession merged at times with those attending the Robinson protest.
The Trump march was held to mark the US president's controversial visit to Britain.
Mr Trump's trip was also met by 100,000 people protesting against his visit, according to organisers of the Together Against Trump demonstration.
Robinson has a number of prior criminal convictions for violence, drug possession and public order offences.
