Police release new picture of boy, 7, who vanished during shopping trip with dad

Police have issued a new picture of a missing seven-year-old who disappeared during a shopping trip with his father.

Denis Beran was taken to a store on Hagley Road, Birmingham, at 10am on Wednesday by his dad Rene Klempar.

However, the boy was not returned to his mother, who has full parental responsibility, West Midlands Police said.

Officers are now appealing for information on Denis' whereabouts and are asking anyone who has seen the pair to get in touch.

They said his dad is not wanted for any offences, and they just want to know the little boy is safe.
