Northumbria Police have confirmed that 70-year-old Terrance Glister has been found 'safe and well'.
Officers launched an urgent appeal on Sunday evening after the 70-year-old was reported missing at around 11.30pm on Saturday.
He was last seen leaving an address in Kenton at around 2.55 pm on Saturday, but failed to return home.

Police began to grow increasingly concerned for his welfare and launched an appeal to the public to come forward with information.
On Monday morning, police confirmed that Terrance Glister was found 'safe and well'.
