Police release images of man who may have information relating to serious assault in Lanarkshire

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to help help them with investigations into a serious assault in Coatbridge.

The incident took place on the town's Whifflet Street just after Midnight on Sunday, November 28.

The man pictured is described as being "of slim build with light coloured hair, average height, wearing dark bottoms and shoes and a distinctive blue camouflage North Face jacket".

Detective Constable Shemain Murphy told Lanarkshire Live : "I would urge the man depicted in the images, or anyone who has information relating to him, to contact police via 101.

"Please quote reference number 0289 of Sunday, November 28, when calling.

"Alternatively, calls can be made anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
