Police release images of man in connection with serious assault on Glasgow city centre bus

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist them with enquiries in connection with a serious assault on a Glasgow bus in Glasgow last month.

The incident occurred on March 6 at around 5.15pm while on board a Number 2 Airdrie bus.

A man was assaulted by another man as the bus was being driven through Glasgow's city centre .

The injured male was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he received treatment for a serious leg injury. 

Officers are keen to speak to the man in the images, as they believe that he could assist them with their enquiries into this incident.

He is described as white and wearing a dark-coloured hooded zipped top.

Detective Constable Alistair Donaldson at City Centre Police Office said: "Anyone who recognises this man, any witnesses to the assault, or anyone with information should call City Centre Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 2924 of 6th March 2019.

"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
