Police release images of Deakin robbery

ACT Policing has released images of a man it believes committed an aggravated armed robbery at the Deakin IGA supermarket on Sunday.

Police allege the man, believed to be armed with a knife, entered the supermarket about 8.15am and threatened an employee before demanding cash.

The staff member gave him money which was put in a red shopping bag before the man left, walking behind the Fitness First gym and proceeding west along MacGregor Street.

The man was wearing black clothing, which partially covered his face, and a dark cap. He is described as having red hair, fair skin and freckles.
