Police release images in connection with bogus caller incident in Old Kilpatrick

Images have been released of two men police want to speak to in connection with a bogus caller incident in Old Kilpatrick.

The crime happened between Monday, August 3 and Friday, August 7 in Freelands Crescent.

The first man is described as white and was wearing a black hoodie, black baseball cap with a white logo on the front, beige bottoms, and a black face mask.

The second male is also white and was wearing a dark blue gillet, grey t-shirt, black cargo trousers with grey patches, beige shoes, yellow baseball cap, and a white face mask.

Detective Constable Imran Abuzar, of Clydebank Police Station, said: “We are continuing enquiries in the area and gathering more information on this incident.

“We are particularly keen to speak to the two males in the images as they may be able to assist police with enquiries.

“I am urging anyone who recognises the males, or who has information that will assist our investigation to contact detectives at Clydebank through 101 quoting reference number 1019 of August 7.

“Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
