Police investigating the murder of Central Queensland mother Rene Latimore believe she knew her killer.
An image of a vehicle travelling on the same road where her body was found has been released as part of the investigation.
The 31-year-old mother was last seen in Koumala, south of Mackay in early August.
Several weeks later, her body was found at a rural property where she had been living with family.
Details remain scarce about what happened to Ms Latimore, but police have now released an image taken on a farm camera.
"Obviously the image is blurred and taken in the evening, but we believe it to be a four-wheel drive," Detective Inspector Tom Armitt said.
The car was seen travelling on Schirmer Road on the evening of August 9.
"It's believed she was murdered at the premises on the night of the ninth or early hours in the morning of the tenth," Detective Inspector Armitt said.
Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or who could help identify it or its occupants is urged to contact police.
'Strong suspicions'
Detective Inspector Armitt said police suspected Rene's killer was "close to her in association".
"It is strongly believed that Rene knew her killer," he said.
"There were indications that Rene knew the person — there were no signs of any significant disturbance at the property.
Police have not revealed how Rene died, but said machinery on the property may have been used in the crime.
"Not to murder her, but may have been involved in disposing of her body," Detective Inspector Armitt said.
Detectives have conducted hundreds of interviews and the investigation is continuing.
"We have strong suspicions around persons of interest," Detective Inspector Armitt said.
