MONKLANDS police have released an image of two men they believe “may be able to assist with ongoing enquiries” relating to an incident in Airdrie late last year.
The incident took place in the town’s Southburn Road at around 7.30pm on December 8.
The first man is black, aged between 17 and 20 years old, around 5ft 10in tall, of a slim build, wearing a beanie style hat, dark jacket and trousers and carrying an Adidas rucksack.
It is believed he spoke with an English, possibly a London, accent.
The second man is also black and aged from 17 to 20, and around 5ft 10in tall, of a slim build wearing black trousers and a black puffer jacket; he is also believed to have an English, possibly a London, accent.
Detective Constable Chris Armstrong, of Coatbridge CID, said, “Anyone who recognises these men, or who has information regarding this incident, should contact Coatbridge police station through 101, quoting reference number 2863 of December 8, 2020.
“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
