Police release image of suspect after Leeds school burglaries

Police have released a CCTV image of a man police want to question about a spate of school burglaries in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police say the man was caught on camera following a burglary at Farsley Springbank Primary School, on Saturday, September 21.

A window at the school in Wesley Street, Farsley, was smashed and the burglar searched the reception area. It is not yet clear whether anything was taken.

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers are looking at a number of other recent similar offences at schools in the area to see if they are linked.

"Anyone who recognises the suspect or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact the Leeds West Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101, quoting crime reference number 13190485054."
