Police release image of man they'd like to speak to after thousands of pounds of cash and high value watches stolen

Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after thousands of pounds of cash and high value watches were stolen from a house in Trafford.

Police were called to a property on Minister Drive in Urmston at around 11.15am on October 27 to reports of a burglary.

The suspect is also thought to have arrived at the property in a taxi at around 1.15pm the previous day on 26 October, GMP said.

Minutes later they departed the address in the same vehicle.

Investigations have revealed that the taxi journey ended on Auburn Street in Manchester city centre.

Anyone who knows the man is being urged to contact police (GMP)

Nobody was injured during the burglary but the victim was said to have been left shaken.

Detectives say they are particularly keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV images in connection with the burglary.

DC Conny Geiger, of GMP Trafford's Criminal Investigation Department, said: "Burglary an intrusive and despicable crime.

"Thankfully, no one was injured during this incident. However, it has left the victim feeling incredibly shaken and unsafe in their own home.

"We are continuing to investigate this incident at pace and are particularly keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV images in relation to this incident.

"If this is you or you know this man pictured, we would urge you to contact police as soon as possible."
