
Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in relation to a sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl on a bus.
The Metropolitan Police said the incident allegedly took place on the number 235 travelling from Hounslow to Sunbury, as the bus neared Treaty Shopping Centre.
The bus driver reported to police that a passenger had rubbed his crotch against the teenage girl at around 5.10pm before he got off the bus at Feltham.
The man they would like to speak to has been described as having dark hair, wearing sunglasses, a light coloured t-shirt with a print on the back, cream-coloured shorts and a black backpack.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing, Met Police said.
PC Stephanie Gillard from the Met's Roads & Transport Policing team, said: “This is a highly disturbing incident for a young woman to go through.
"Women should be able to travel alone without fear and we are dedicated to protecting women and girls.
“We are carrying out enquiries and are supporting the victim as best as we can, but we now need your help.
“If you were on the 235 bus route that day or have any mobile phone footage from around the time the victim boarded the bus at 16:59hrs, then please call the police.
