Police release image of man after incident in Glasgow park

Police have launched an image appeal for a man who may be able to help with enquiries into an incident which happened at a Glasgow park last month.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, aged between 25-35 years of age with a goatee beard and an earring in his right ear.

The man in the image is shown wearing a turquoise top, blue jeans and a black coat.

On Saturday, January 23 officers from Police Scotland were alerted after two women spotted a man exposing himself and carrying out a solo sex act on himself at around 2pm.

A full search of the area was carried out but they did not find the culprit.

Police Constable Fiona Crum of the Public Protection Unit based in Glasgow said: “We’re eager to trace the man in the image and would ask that the man, or anyone who can help identify and trace him, to contact police as soon as possible. Anyone who has any other information relevant to our enquiries should also report this to officers as soon as possible.

“Those with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2212 of 23 January. Alternatively, an anonymous report can be given to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
