Police release image of driver's unsecure load which led to a fine

A motorist will receive a fine after driving on a road on the outskirts of the city with an unsecure load.

The vehicle, which also had a defective rear tyre, was stopped on the A6002 Woodhouse Way, between Bilborough and Strelley, and the driver was issued with a Traffic Offence Report.

It means the driver will receive a fine in due course.

A prohibition notice was also issued in respect of the vehicle and its load.

The Notts Roads Policing Twitter account tweeted a picture of it on Monday (July 13), writing: "Driver fined and prohibited for having an (unsecure) load and a defective rear tyre.

"Always make sure your vehicle is safe to be on the road."
