Police release e-fit images of men who abducted and raped Oxford schoolgirl

Police have released e-fit images of two men suspected of raping a 14-year-old girl while she was on her way to school.

The teenage victim was abducted by the men while walking along a busy Oxford street between 8:15 and 8:40am last Wednesday, and was found knocking on doors four hours later.

Thirty police officers are said to be investigating the case. So far no arrests have been made.

The first man is described as white, in his mid-20s, about 6ft (182cm) tall, with short blonde hair, of average build, and speaking with a northern accent. He is thought to have been wearing a grey hoodie and black trousers.

The second man is white, in his late teens, muscular, and was wearing black clothing.

Deputy Superintendent Chris Ward, Head of the Major Crime Unit at Thames Valley Police, said: “We continue to investigate this incident, and we are now able to release E-fits of two men who we want to speak to in connection with this incident.

“A team of specially-trained officers continues to support the victim and we are working with her to gather further information surrounding the incident.”

Since the incident the victim has received support from specialist officers and is being given on-going support from officers and other specialist agencies.

Thames Valley Police ask anyone who recognises the offenders to contact 101 quoting the reference 1631 (28/9)
