Four men are alleged to have jumped over the back wall at the rear of the shop and gained entry through the back door.

Officers say a quantity of cash and a mobile phone have been stolen during the burglary.

They have now released two CCTV images showing men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "If you have any information call 101 and ask to speak to PC Glenn Canvin quoting incident reference number 156 of August 1."
