Police release CCTV of man after early morning assault in Uddingston

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak with following an assault in Lanarkshire.

A man was assaulted on Old Edinburgh Road, Viewpark in Uddingston at 7.15am on Thursday, 25 June 2020.

Officers have released a CCTV picture of the man they believe can assist their enquiries.

He is described as white, 5 ft. 10 in height, medium build, and short dark hair.

Constable Mark Cameron, Bellshill Police Station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may recognise the man in the image, or who has any information, to contact police at Bellshill via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 0779 of 25 June 2020.

“Alternatively, calls can be made in confidence to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
