Police have released CCTV images showing the moment three masked men armed with large knives tried to rob a store while the shopkeeper's baby was inside.
The men demanded money before leaving empty-handed after being challenged by the owner of the SKM Convenience Store in Newark.
It happened at 8.49pm on Saturday, April 27, in Beacon Hill Road.
Nottinghamshire Police have released the images in a bid to seek help from the public in order to identify the masked raiders.
At the time of the incident the shopkeepers wife and their eight-month-old baby were in the store.
A force spokesman said: "Anyone who recognises the men, or has any information that could help the enquiry, is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 840 of 27 April 2019, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
