Police have released CCTV images of two men and two women they wish to speak to in relation to an early morning attack which took place in Glasgow city centre last year.
The assault happened on Argyle Street, at its junction with Union Street, in the city at around 2am on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
The first man is described as being white and of slim build with short dark hair and a dark coloured beard. He has tattoos on both forearms.
He was wearing an orange-coloured polo shirt, bright orange-coloured shorts along with white and black trainers on the night in question.
The second man is described as being white and of medium build. He had on a dark grey tracksuit, black baseball cap and white trainers and was carrying a dark coloured rucksack at the time of the incident.
The first female is described as being white and of medium build with long, dark hair. She was wearing a pink t-shirt, black body warmer, black cycling shorts and white trainers.
The second female is described as being white and of slim build, wearing a black tracksuit, black baseball cap and black trainers on the same night.
Officers are keen to trace the four people as part of their ongoing inquiries into the incident, and are urging anyone with any information on the group to come forward.
Detective Constable Mark Soutter of Greater Glasgow CID said: “I would urge the four individuals, or anyone who has information relating to any of these individuals, depicted in these images to make contact with the Police.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow CID via 101 quoting reference number 0290 of Tuesday 29 June 2021. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.”
