Police release CCTV images of man after Glasgow apartment block incident

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to following an incident at a Glasgow apartment block.

Officers are probing the incident which took place on the evening of Friday, 24 September, 2021 on Wallace Street in the Tradeston area of the city.

The person in the images is described as a black male, mid to late 20’s, approximately 5ft 8, with a medium build, and short black hair.

Police say he was wearing a navy puffer jacket with “Firetrap” written across the back and dark tracksuit bottoms, and spoke with a foreign, possibly African, accent.

A statement issued this Friday afternoon reads: "Police Scotland has released images of a man they believe may hold information which could assist with enquiries following an incident which occurred at an apartment block on Wallace Street, Glasgow around 5.40pm on Friday, 24 September, 2021."

Police Constable Christian Harrison from Govan Police Office said: "Anyone with information is asked to call CID officers at Govan Police Station via 101, quoting reference 2916 of Friday, 24 September, 2021.

"Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
