Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a train guard was punched in the face.

A train driver at Rochdale railway station was also shoved after asking a man to wear a face covering.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following the incident, which happened at around 9.40am on Monday, November 9.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the image, who they believe may have information which could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.

In both cases, quote reference number 102 of 09/11/20.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
