Police have released a CCTV image of a man who may have information about a serious assault in Bothwell.
A 35-year-old man was attacked with a weapon on Blantyre Mill Road, Bothwell at around 6pm on Friday, October 22.
He had been rushed to hospital for treatment to a serious head wound and was left badly shaken following the assault.
The suspect had been described as a man of stocky build, around 6ft tall, who was wearing a green hi–vis jacket at the time.
Police Scotland are now asking the man in the photo or anyone who recognises him to get in touch with them.
