Police reject paper's plea for paedophile picture

Police have rejected a request by the Norwich Evening News for a picture of a convicted paedophile who is deemed to be a danger to children. The paper believes that publishing a photograph of David Ferguson would be in the public interest because he has been placed on a sex offenders' list. But police chiefs refuse to provide a picture. Ferguson is currently in custody facing a drugs charge but the paper wishes to carry a picture in case he is released. (Via Norwich Evening News)
