Police have seized a large amount of class A drugs during a routine stop and search.
Whilst carrying out proactive patrols, GMP officers in Leigh came across a VW Polo acting ‘suspiciously’.
After searching the car they found and seized a ‘significant quantity’ of what is suspected to be class A drugs.
The car was also seized as used in crime, the force said in a Facebook post.
It read: “Whilst carrying out proactive patrols this morning, Leigh NBOs have come across this vehicle acting suspiciously.
“They have searched the vehicle, finding and seizing a significant quantity of what is suspected Class A drugs.
“The car was also seized as used in crime.
“If you have any information about drug use and supply in your area, please report this via Crimestoppers, 101, or GMP's online reporting facility.
“Thank you and stay safe.”
