Police receive report of 'man riding off-road bike' around Aspley

Police have responded after a report from neighbours about a man riding an off-road motorbike around the Aspley area.

Concerned residents raised the issue about the motorcyclist with officers in relation to lockdown guidance.

A person living in the area, who wished to remain anonymous, told Nottinghamshire Live the noise from the bike was also very unsettling and was affecting the ability to work, rest or sit outside.

In response to the concerns, a spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Nottinghamshire Police has received a report of a man riding an off-road motorbike around Aspley.

"As with all reports of people persistently going against the Government’s guidance, this information has been fed into the force’s Operation Bion patrols, where neighbourhood officers visit any hotspot areas to ensure that everyone is following the Government’s restrictions."
