Police re-appeal for information on missing Hamilton pensioner

Police are still appealing for information to help trace a missing 80-year-old man from Hamilton.

Thomas Brian Porteous, known as Brian was last seen around 10am on Saturday, March 21, at Woodburn Court, in Hamilton.

He is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with white hair.

He was last seen wearing a khaki green parka style coat with a hood and navy trousers.

Concern is growing for his welfare and officers are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

Inspector Martin McKendrick from Lanarkshire Division said: “As time goes by we are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of Brian who is vulnerable.

“He is known to frequent the Hamilton and Motherwell areas.

“Our Officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to trace him, however I would ask Brian to please get in touch or if anyone has any information as the whereabouts of Brian to contact Police.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2985 of 21 March 2020.
