Police raid uncovers huge cannabis farm sprawling throughout Leeds house

Police have discovered a massive cannabis farm that covered three rooms of a house in east Leeds during a raid of the property.

Officers from the East Leeds Neighbourhood Policing Teams stormed the house in East End Park, Leeds, on Monday, May 18 after receiving reports of "a strong smell of cannabis" in the area.

When officers entered the residential property in the Victoria neighbourhood of East End Park, they found cannabis plants in three separate rooms.

A large quantity of cannabis and money was seized from the address and a man was arrested for production of a controlled drug.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "East Leeds Neighbourhood Policing Teams will continue to act on local information provided in order to provide Safer Communities for all and would like to thank our local communities for their continued support."

The investigation remains ongoing.
