Police raid rural property in connection with fatal Darwin shootings

Police have raided a property on the outskirts of Darwin in connection with last month's shootings that left four men dead.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a property on Walker Court in McMinn's Lagoon on Thursday.

Plain-clothed officers searched a shipping container on the property and removed some boxes.

Officers also spoke with the driver of a Land Cruiser who arrived at the residence while the warrant was being executed.

There were no reports of any arrests being made or information about what was seized.

In a statement on Thursday afternoon, police said the investigation into last month's fatal shootings remained ongoing.

"Operation Moor remains a declared major crime and detectives are continuing to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding the matter," a spokeswoman said.

Four men were killed in separate locations in and near the Darwin CBD over the course of the hour-long shooting spree last month.

Darwin man Benjamin Hoffman, 45, was charged with four counts of murder and remains in prison.

Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw previously said Mr Hoffman spent time in the city's rural area in the hours before the shootings.
