Police have raced to an estate in Perthshire after a man died in a shooting incident.
The alarm was raised at 11.30am this morning at Rossie Ochil Estate near Kinnaird, which is home to a clay pigeon centre.
It is not yet clear if the victim died due to an accident involving a gun but officers later reassured the public there was no ongoing threat at the estate.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm a man has died following an incident near Kinnaird, Carse of Gowrie, on Monday March 25.
"There was no threat to the public and the incident was contained to the immediate area.
"Inquiries are at an early stage and are continuing, and the man’s next of kin have been informed."
